I was born in London.........Ok...London, OH. As the oldest of 3 brothers who were all a year apart, needless to say, there was never a dull moment. With my dad being a youth minister for most of our growing up, we usually moved about every 3 years. That meant I was the constant new kid. I had great parents who genuinely loved God and gave me the right amount of protection and freedom. After 7 new schools, I graduated high school from Canton South in Canton, OH. From there I went to Malone College to run Cross Country and began youth pastoring at a small Methodist church in the area. After 2 years there and a collapsed lung, I gave running a break and headed down to Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. This is where I met my Alabama Sweetheart, my Keri.
After only a year there, I moved back to Ohio to be a youth pastor, and Keri and I were soon married. I began as a part-time youth pastor and had my own roofing company. Soon the youth ministry grew and I was full time at the church. Keri and I then took on two other smaller church youth ministries, which we mothered. Then after 4 years in St. Clairsville, OH, we got the opportunity to be the District Youth Directors for the state of Ohio with the Assemblies of God. We were in that position for 6 years and got to travel oversees leading missions trips, running summer camps and organizing events and conventions for thousands of students. It was during those years that all 3 of our children were born, Kaden, Kross and Kalvarie.
Soon though, we began to feel God moving us to plant a church. I remember handing in my resignation not even knowing where we were going to plant a church, except for somewhere in East Columbus. The next day, I get a call saying a church building in Pickerington has come open and that we could have it. It was one of the many cool things God did to lead us here. We are in this thing for the long haul. God has given us big dreams for the "
DENT" that C3 is going to make with the message of Jesus Christ. Ever since we've opened the doors, God has truly given C3 favor and it has been an incredible ride with some amazing people. I get to work along side some of my best friends in the world. There is no other place that we would rather be, than at C3 and living the dream! Like I say all the time, "we've only just begun!"
