I, Gary A. Fowler Jr., am proud to be named after my dad. I was born and raised in WV (I think I have heard all the jokes but feel free to tell them to me). I grew up attending a small baptist church with my grandmother ("Grannie" is now in Heaven). After high school I attempted college in Fairmont, WV. I quickly learned that I was not responsible with my time or parents hard earned money to do this college thing on my own, so I transferred to West Liberty State College and did about the same. After a conversation with my dad about my lack of effort, I decided to go into the US Air Force where I served 4 years active duty. While in the military, I earned my BS in Business Admin with a concentration in management.

Once my oldest daughter Shayna turned 2 years old, I got homesick and moved back to the Ohio Valley. That is where I met Konan and Keri. We quickly became friends and I saw something in him that I wanted for myself. I learned that what he had was a personal relationship with Jesus. I always thought I did but I was not living a lifestyle that would make it evident to anyone else. I volunteered to help Konan with the youth and when he was called to the state youth director position, I began the process to earn my ministry credentials. I served 6 years as a youth pastor in St. Clairsville, OH. Konan and I kept in touch during the years and worked together on many events for the state.

The dream was realized in May of 2006 when we moved our family from Bridgeport, OH, to Pickerington. Deni and I now have 3 more daughters. Megan was born in 2004 and lived only 4 days. We miss her everyday but take comfort in knowing that we will see her again in Heaven. Hannah was born in 2005 and Raegan was born in 2007. Raegan was my last attempt for a boy... I would never change the way things are!!!
