C3 has always been a generous, multiplying church. And just as God multiplied the five loaves and two fish to feed thousands, we believe God wants to multiply our generosity still today. When we bring our first, and best to God, He honors that offering and does immeasurably more than we can imagine (Ephesians 3:20). This year, as a church, it is our goal to not only cover our everyday operating expenses as a church, but to go above and beyond and double what we give away. That’s right, C3 Church is going to tithe twice.

With 2X, our goal is to invest in the next generation to impact our church, our city, and our world. We also want to invest in the ministries and organizations in our community who are doing strategic work with those who need it most.

Through 2X, C3 Church will be pouring into the next generation of believers and leaders. We are focused on developing Disciples for Jesus, all the way from C3 Kids to C3 Youth to our young adults and beyond. Be sure to check out our specific web pages learn more about C3 Kids and C3 Youth.

Financial giving in a church setting is done in two ways: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches that we worship the Lord by bringing Him our tithe, which is typically 10% of our annual income. When we give above our tithe, it’s called an offering.
 
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:6-8).
